Product Introduction

Immunorel 10gm Injection 100ml is an immunostimulant containing the active ingredient Human normal immunoglobulin, a class of immunoglobulin derivatives. It is used for replacement therapy in patients with primary immunodeficiency disorders (PIDs), where the immune system cannot produce adequate antibodies to combat infections. The medication is also used to modulate the immune system in certain autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, helping to reduce excessive inflammation and suppress abnormal immune responses.

Immunorel Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to human immunoglobulin or its components. Blood clot formation is a potential risk during treatment; blood viscosity monitoring and adequate hydration are recommended. Patients with selective IgA deficiency face a risk of developing antibodies against IgA. Normal human immunoglobulin should be used cautiously or avoided in such cases. Inform your physician if you have a history of IgA deficiency.

Following administration of Immunorel 10gm Injection 100ml, a temporary decrease in white blood cell concentration (neutropenia, or low neutrophil count) may occur, resolving spontaneously within a week. Use is not recommended for children younger than 12 years, as effects of human immunoglobulin in this population are unknown. Normal human immunoglobulin may interfere with the effectiveness of live attenuated vaccines; live vaccines should be avoided for a certain period after receiving this medication.

Overdose may cause fluid overload, particularly in patients with pre-existing heart failure or compromised renal function. Such patients require careful monitoring during infusion. Inform your doctor of any heart, thyroid, kidney, or liver disease. Your physician may prescribe a low dose and perform regular blood tests. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be discussed with your physician.
