Product Introduction
Immutil S 360 tablet is an immunosuppressant medication containing mycophenolate sodium as its active ingredient. It functions as an inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor. The tablet is indicated for prevention of organ rejection in patients who have undergone organ transplantation, including kidney, heart, or liver transplant. It is prescribed as part of combination immunosuppressive therapy alongside other immunosuppressive agents.
Immutil S 360 tablet is contraindicated in pregnancy due to the risk of birth defects and miscarriage. It should not be used in pregnant women unless there are no suitable alternatives and the potential benefits justify the risks. Female patients of reproductive age are strongly advised to use effective contraceptive methods during treatment with this tablet to prevent pregnancy.
Live vaccines must not be administered to patients taking Immutil S 360 tablet because vaccine effectiveness is reduced and the risk of infection increases. Individuals receiving this medication should not donate blood during treatment and for at least six weeks after treatment discontinuation to ensure adequate clearance of the medication from the body before blood donation.
The tablet should not be taken if there is known allergy to mycophenolate sodium or any other components of the formulation. Patients with liver disease or heart disease must inform their doctor before starting treatment.
Because this medication reduces immune defences, it increases the risk of skin cancer. Patients should take precautions to minimise sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) light exposure. Immediate medical attention should be sought if bruising under the skin, fever, unexplained fatigue, dizziness, yellowing of the skin or eyes, vision impairment, reduced urine output, or seizures develop after taking this medicine.
Immutil S 360 tablet is an immunosuppressive medication that may affect immune system development in infants and should be avoided during breastfeeding.
Uses
Prevent organ transplant rejections.
How it works
Immutil S 360 tablets works by inhibiting the enzyme inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) and reducing the production of guanosine nucleotides. MMF specifically affects the proliferation of activated T and B lymphocytes. These lymphocytes are key players in the immune response that can lead to the rejection of a transplanted organ.
How to Use
It is an orally available prescription drug. Your physician will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease condition, severity, and other factors. Always take Immutil S 360 tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Do not open, crush, break, or chew the medicine. Take the medicine at the same time every day as advised by your doctor.

Serious Infections, fever, or sore throat Unusual bleeding or bruising Low blood cell count Severe allergic reactions Common Higher risk of developing lymphoma and other cancers Nausea, abdominal pain Diarrhea Constipation Loss of appetite Shortness of breath Weight loss Increased heartbeat Headache Blood pressure problem Anaemia
Expert Tips
It is necessary to take the prescribed dose exactly as instructed by your doctor. Inform your doctor about all the medications (prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal) you are taking, as they can interact with this drug. If you plan to conceive or suspect you might be pregnant while taking Immutil S 360 tablet, it is important to consult your doctor immediately. They may suggest switching to alternative medications that are safer during pregnancy or adjusting your treatment plan.
