Product Introduction

Indenza 40mg capsule contains the active ingredient Enzalutamide, an antineoplastic drug belonging to the class of androgen receptor inhibitors. This medication is prescribed for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer in patients who have not responded adequately to surgical or hormonal therapies. Patients obtaining Indenza 40mg should do so through authorised pharmacies with a valid prescription. For patients who do not tolerate this medicine or require alternatives, a doctor may suggest other therapeutic options depending on the individual's clinical condition. The Indenza 40mg dosage must be taken as directed by a qualified healthcare professional. Dose adjustments should not be made without medical guidance, as this may result in unwanted side effects or complications. When comparing Indenza with Xtandi, both contain Enzalutamide but may differ in availability, branding, and cost. A doctor should be consulted before switching between formulations. Enzalutamide 40mg works by blocking the action of male hormones that promote prostate cancer cell growth. Treatment benefits include slowing progression of prostate cancer and improved survival rates in many patients. However, like all medicines, it may cause side effects. Patient experiences documented in reviews can provide insights into real-world outcomes, though treatment response varies between individuals.

Uses

Indenza uses are Advanced prostate cancer

How it works

It works by inhibiting the active form of testosterone, called dihydrotestosterone. It selectively blocks the androgen receptors and disrupts the translocation of signals from the receptor to the cell. Thus, the androgen hormone does not bind to the androgen receptors and these androgen receptors do not interact with DNA. This blocks the functioning of cancer cells and reduces its multiplication.
