Product Introduction
Insed Plus Atomiser 5mg Spray contains the active ingredient Midazolam, a fast-acting medication that belongs to the benzodiazepine class. It is commonly used for the emergency management of status epilepticus (prolonged or repeated seizures), as well as for preoperative sedation to help patients relax before medical procedures. Midazolam also produces a temporary amnesic effect, reducing the ability to remember certain medical procedures. Insed Plus Atomiser 5mg Spray works by calming abnormal electrical activity in the brain, making it an effective option for seizure control and procedural sedation when used under medical supervision.
Do not use Insed Plus Atomiser 5mg Spray if you are allergic to Midazolam or any of its ingredients. It is also contraindicated in patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma, as benzodiazepines may worsen this condition by increasing intraocular pressure. Patients with severe breathing disorders, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or severe asthma, should inform their healthcare provider before using this medicine, as Midazolam may cause respiratory depression and slow breathing. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this spray. Breastfeeding is generally not recommended during treatment because Midazolam can pass into breast milk and may affect the nursing infant.
Insed Plus Atomiser 5mg Spray should only be administered by trained healthcare professionals and must not be used by the epidural or intrathecal route, as it contains benzyl alcohol, a preservative associated with serious neurological side effects when administered through these routes. Patients should be closely monitored after administration for excessive drowsiness, breathing difficulties, or other adverse reactions. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions to ensure the safe and effective use of Insed Plus Atomiser 5mg Spray.
