Product Introduction

Intaglob IM 16.5% Injection 2ml is a preparation of Human Normal Immunoglobulin indicated in patients with primary immunodeficiency disorders (PIDs) characterised by inadequate antibody production. It is also used to modulate immune function in select autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. The injection has been explored in fertility treatment protocols, particularly for patients with recurrent implantation failure or recurrent miscarriage where immune dysfunction may be contributory. Use in IVF settings and during pregnancy requires specialist evaluation and supervision on a case-by-case basis.

Intaglob IM 16.5% Injection is contraindicated in patients with IgA deficiency or documented hypersensitivity to immunoglobulins. Adverse effects reported include mild rash, neutropenia (low white blood cell count), and fluid overload in patients with cardiac or renal compromise. Live vaccines should be withheld for a minimum of several months following administration of this injection.

Treatment should be initiated only under specialist supervision.
