Product Introduction

Intapime TZ 1.125G Injection contains the active components Tazobactam and Cefepime. It is used to treat various types of bacterial infections, including pneumonia (lung infection with fever, cough, and breathing difficulties), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, bone and joint infections, sepsis (life-threatening infection-triggered inflammation), and meningitis (inflammation of brain and spinal cord membranes). It is effective against a wide range of bacteria, including both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Patients who are allergic to Tazobactam and Cefepime or any of its ingredients should avoid using this medication. It should be used cautiously in patients with kidney or liver disease. Caution is also advised in patients with a history of seizures or other neurological disorders, and in those taking other medications that can interact with this medication, such as warfarin or probenecid. Tazobactam and Cefepime can be used safely in older adults; however, it is important to monitor kidney function and adjust the dosage accordingly.

How it works

Intapime TZ 1.125G Injection is a combination of two antibiotics. Cefepime is a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by preventing the bacteria from forming the cell wall that they need to survive. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It works by preventing bacteria from breaking down Cefepime.

How to Use

Intapime TZ 1.125G Injection is administered intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM) by a healthcare professional. The dose and frequency of administration of this medication will depend on the type and severity of the infection being treated.

Side Effects

Intapime TZ 1.125G injection causes some side effects like all medications, although not everyone will experience them.
