Product Introduction

Isoneph injection 5ml contains Iron (III) Isomaltoside as its active ingredient and belongs to the anti-anemic medicines class. It is used as an iron replacement therapy to treat iron deficiency anaemia in adults who cannot tolerate oral iron or have shown inadequate response to oral iron preparations. The medication is also indicated for iron deficiency anaemia in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis who are unable to take oral iron supplementation. Due to limited safety and efficacy data, Isoneph injection 5ml is not recommended for use in individuals below 18 years of age, including children and adolescents.

Do not use Isoneph injection 5ml if you are allergic to Iron (III) Isomaltoside or any ingredient in the formulation. It is contraindicated if anaemia is not caused by iron deficiency (such as haemolytic anaemia), if you have iron overload or impaired iron utilisation, or if you have a history of severe allergic reactions to other injectable iron preparations and active liver disease.

Before receiving Isoneph injection 5ml, inform your doctor if you have a history of medicine allergy, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, or severe asthma. Notify your doctor if you have eczema, other allergies, an ongoing bacterial infection in the blood, or reduced liver function.
