Product Introduction
Isopoint IV Injection contains Iron (III) Isomaltoside as its active ingredient and belongs to the class of anti-anemic medicines. It is used for iron replacement therapy in adults with iron deficiency anemia who are intolerant to oral iron or have shown inadequate response to oral iron preparations. The injection is also indicated for iron deficiency anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis who cannot receive oral iron supplementation. Due to insufficient safety and efficacy data, Isopoint IV Injection is not recommended in individuals below 18 years of age, including children and adolescents.
Isopoint IV Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Iron (III) Isomaltoside or any component of the formulation. Do not use this medicine if anemia is caused by a non-iron-deficiency aetiology such as haemolytic anemia, if iron overload or impaired iron utilisation is present, or if there is a history of severe allergic reactions to other parenteral iron preparations or active liver disease.
Before administration of Isopoint IV Injection, inform your doctor of any prior medicine allergy, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, or severe asthma. Also notify your doctor if you have eczema, other allergic conditions, active bacteraemia, or hepatic impairment.

How to Use
