Product Introduction
Ketotime Tablet is an antihistamine and anti-allergic medication containing Ketotifen fumarate as its active ingredient. It helps prevent and manage symptoms of allergic conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose), conjunctivitis (itchy or watery eyes), and skin allergies. By blocking the release of histamine and stabilising mast cells, Ketotime Tablet reduces inflammation, wheezing, and airway sensitivity, improving breathing and overall comfort in patients with allergies or mild asthma. It is used as preventive therapy for asthma and long-term allergy control when taken regularly as prescribed.
Do not use Ketotime Tablet if you are allergic to ketotifen or any of its ingredients. Caution is advised in patients who are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Caution is also advised for patients with liver, kidney, or seizure disorders. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and treatment duration.
How it works
Take one Ketotime Tablet twice daily or as directed by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush it. It is best taken with meals to minimise stomach upset. Continue taking the medication regularly for preventive benefits; it may take a few weeks for the full effect. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.
