Product Introduction
Kintsugi 150mg injection contains Trastuzumab as its active ingredient. It is indicated for HER2-positive breast cancer and metastatic gastric cancer with elevated HER2 protein levels. In HER2-positive breast cancer, cancer cells express high levels of HER2 proteins, which drive rapid tumour development through signalling pathways. HER2-positive breast cancers are typically aggressive. The targeted mechanism works by selectively inhibiting the HER2 proteins responsible for cancer cell growth, development, and dissemination.
Effective contraception must be used during treatment and for at least 7 months following the final dose. Kintsugi 150mg injection is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age, or those with severe respiratory compromise requiring oxygen support. Prior to commencing treatment, inform your physician of any cardiac conditions, breathlessness, or previous cancer treatments. Disclose all current medications, including supplements and herbal preparations, to your physician before initiating this medication.

Kintsugi 150mg injection is indicated for its use in the following conditions: Advanced and metastatic breast cancer Metastatic gastric cancer
How it works
The protein called HER2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 2) is found in abundant amounts on the surface of certain cancer cells, where it stimulates cancer growth. Kintsugi 150mg injection selectively binds to HER2 and stops the growth of cancer cells.
How to Use
Kintsugi 150mg injection shall either be administered before or after surgery. It will be given as an Intravenous infusion for 90 minutes, if well tolerated it shall be administered within 30 minutes for the next doses.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Expert Tips
It is suggested to inform your doctor if you have a history of allergic reactions to trastuzumab to avoid life-threatening complications. If you have a history of lung disorder or breathing problems inform your doctor beforehand before the treatment commencement. Avoid planning for pregnancy and breastfeeding for a minimum of 7 months after the last dose. Monitor your heart parameters regularly during the treatment with Kintsugi 150mg injection as it may impact the functioning of the heart.

Lungs: Consult your doctor You need to tell your physician if you have any lung disorders before starting Kintsugi 150mg injection, as it may require dosage adjustment.
Breastfeeding: unsafe Avoid breastfeeding your baby while on the treatment with Kintsugi 150mg injection at least for at least seven months after the final dose.
