Product Introduction
Laibi tablet is a nutrient supplement containing Alpha Ketoanalogue as its active ingredient. It is classified as an amino acid preparation and is administered alongside a protein-restricted diet to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). It reduces uraemic symptoms caused by accumulation of nitrogenous waste compounds that the kidneys normally eliminate, improves nutritional status, and reduces metabolic complications in patients with CKD. It functions by lowering urea levels in the bloodstream and decelerating the advancement of kidney disease, thereby postponing the requirement for long-term dialysis.
Do not use Laibi tablet if you are allergic to Alpha Ketoanalogue or any ingredient in the formulation. Avoid this medicine if you have hypercalcemia (elevated blood calcium levels) or abnormal heartbeats, as administration may increase calcium levels in the blood and cause irregular heartbeats. Your doctor may recommend periodic monitoring of serum calcium levels during treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before commencing this medicine.
