Lalcar ER 20mg Tablet

Lalcar ER 20mg Tablet contains the active ingredient carvedilol, a beta blocker used to manage hypertension, angina pectoris, and heart failure. Hypertension is defined as elevated arterial blood pressure (>140/90 mmHg). Heart failure is a chronic condition characterised by the heart's reduced capacity to pump blood effectively. Angina pectoris is chest pain that develops when the myocardium receives insufficient blood and oxygen supply.

Common side effects associated with Lalcar ER 20mg Tablet include headache, dizziness, fatigue, hypotension, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, weight gain, dry eye, upper respiratory tract infection, bronchitis, urinary tract infection, anaemia, depression, and pain. Inform your doctor if these effects persist or are bothersome. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe allergic reactions to carvedilol or its components.

Before commencing treatment, disclose to your doctor if you have bradycardia, bronchial asthma, emphysema, heart block, severe liver disease, heart failure, or sick sinus syndrome. Additionally, inform your physician if you have diabetes, fluid retention, coronary artery disease, slow heartbeats, angina, thyroid disorder, kidney disease, pheochromocytoma, or Raynaud's syndrome.

Your doctor may conduct routine monitoring including blood glucose levels, blood pressure measurement, and ECG, particularly if you have diabetes or bradycardia. Lalcar ER 20mg Tablet is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age.

As a result, the elevated blood pressure is reduced, the heartbeat is gradually reduced with less force, and the chance of having a stroke, a heart attack, or other heart problems is reduced. Thus, improves the efficiency of the heart in pumping blood throughout the body.

Take Lalcar ER 20mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken with food and swallow this medicine as a whole. Do not chew, break or crush it. Do not stop taking Lalcar ER 20mg Tablet without consulting your healthcare provider.
