It is indicated for advanced breast cancer, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, and subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (tumours located in the brain ventricles). Maintain good oral hygiene and attend regular dental check-ups during treatment, as this medicine may cause mouth sores or ulcers. For subependymal giant cell astrocytoma, it is frequently used in combination with cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent. Prior to starting this medicine, understand that bacterial and viral infection risk increases during treatment. If you have a history of Hepatitis B infection, Lanolimus 0.25mg tablet raises the risk of reinfection. Inform your healthcare provider if you develop fever, chills, cough, skin yellowing, joint pain, or swelling during treatment. Limit sunlight and UV exposure by wearing protective clothing and applying sunscreen regularly, as this medicine may increase cancer risk. Do not consume grapefruit juice or grapefruit during treatment. This tablet is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience shortness of breath, chest pain, or worsening cough. During Lanolimus 0.25mg tablet treatment, your doctor may periodically assess white blood cell counts, platelets, blood glucose, electrolytes, and kidney function to prevent serious complications.
