Product Introduction

Lasinone 10mg Capsule is a metabolic disorder medication containing the active ingredient Nitisinone. It is an enzyme inhibitor used to treat hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 in adults, adolescents, and children of all ages, and alkaptonuria in adults. This rare disease medication works by blocking the breakdown of the amino acid tyrosine and preventing accumulation of harmful substances.

Your doctor may recommend a specialised diet while you take Nitisinone for hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 (HT-1) or alkaptonuria (AKU) to manage your condition effectively.

Do not take Lasinone 10mg Capsule if you are allergic to Nitisinone or any ingredient in the medication. Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you have or have had liver or kidney conditions. Notify your doctor if you have leukopenia (reduced white blood cell count) or thrombocytopenia (reduced platelet count). Your doctor will monitor platelet and white blood cell counts before beginning treatment.

Lasinone 10mg Capsule pricing varies by location and pharmacy. Check with local pharmacies for current pricing information.

Lasinone is a branded formulation of Nitisinone, the active ingredient present in both products. The difference between Lasinone and other Nitisinone formulations may lie in branding, formulation, or pricing, though the active ingredient and mechanism of action remain identical.
