Product Introduction

Lasinone 2mg Capsule is a metabolic disorder medication containing Nitisinone as its active ingredient. It is classified as an enzyme inhibitor and is indicated for treatment of rare conditions including hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 (HT-1) in adults, adolescents, and children of all ages, and alkaptonuria (AKU) in adults. The medicine functions by inhibiting the breakdown of the amino acid tyrosine, thereby preventing accumulation of harmful substances in the body. Your physician will provide guidance on administration of Lasinone 2mg Capsule and may recommend a specialised diet to optimise management of HT-1 or AKU. Patients with Nitisinone hypersensitivity or allergy to any ingredient should not use this medicine. Prior to initiating therapy, inform your doctor of any history of liver or kidney dysfunction. Patients with leukopenia (low white blood cell count) or thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) require close monitoring. Your doctor may conduct regular checks of platelet and WBC levels before and during treatment to ensure safety.
