Ledifos Tablet

Ledifos Tablet contains the antiviral combination of Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir, which is used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in adults and children aged 3 years and above. These direct-acting antiviral medicines work by preventing the hepatitis C virus from multiplying, helping clear the infection and reducing the risk of serious liver complications such as cirrhosis, liver failure, and liver cancer. The primary aim of treatment is to achieve complete viral clearance and improve long-term liver health.

Take Ledifos Tablet only as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Ledipasvir, Sofosbuvir, or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have severe liver disease, decompensated cirrhosis, hepatitis B infection, HIV infection, diabetes, are awaiting a liver transplant, or have any other liver-related condition, as these may require closer monitoring and possible treatment adjustments. Your doctor may perform routine blood tests before, during, and after therapy to evaluate liver function and confirm that the hepatitis C virus has been successfully eliminated. Patients with diabetes should monitor their blood glucose levels carefully, as treatment may increase the risk of hypoglycaemia and require changes to diabetes medications. Breastfeeding is generally not recommended during treatment because it is unknown whether the medicine passes into breast milk. Ledifos Tablet is not recommended for children younger than 3 years of age. Since this medicine may interact with other prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, vitamins, and herbal supplements, always inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you are taking before beginning treatment.
