Ledihep Tablet

Ledihep Tablet contains the antiviral combination of Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir, which is used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in adults and children aged 3 years and older. These direct-acting antiviral medicines work together to stop the hepatitis C virus from multiplying, helping eliminate the infection and reduce the risk of serious liver complications such as cirrhosis and liver failure. The primary goal of treatment is to achieve a sustained virologic response (SVR), indicating successful clearance of the virus from the body.

Take Ledihep Tablet exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Ledipasvir, Sofosbuvir, or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have severe liver disease, decompensated cirrhosis, hepatitis B infection, HIV infection, diabetes, are awaiting a liver transplant, or have any other liver condition, as additional monitoring or treatment adjustments may be required. Your doctor will perform regular blood tests before, during, and after treatment to monitor liver function, assess your response to therapy, and confirm that the hepatitis C virus has been successfully eliminated. Patients with diabetes should closely monitor their blood sugar levels, as this medicine may increase the risk of hypoglycaemia and require adjustments to diabetes medications. Breastfeeding during treatment is generally not recommended because it is unknown whether the medicine passes into breast milk. Ledihep Tablet is not recommended for children younger than 3 years of age. Since this medicine may interact with prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, and herbal supplements, always inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you are taking before starting treatment.
