Product Introduction

Lefra 10mg Tablet contains Leflunomide, a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. It helps reduce joint inflammation, pain, swelling, and stiffness while slowing the progression of joint damage. By controlling the overactive immune response, Lefra 10mg Tablet improves joint function and enhances the quality of life in patients with chronic inflammatory arthritis.

Take Lefra 10mg Tablet only as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Leflunomide or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney disease, interstitial lung disease, tuberculosis, persistent diarrhoea, skin ulcers, or any ongoing or recurrent infections, as these conditions may require careful monitoring or dose adjustments. Your doctor may recommend regular blood tests to monitor liver function, blood cell counts, and overall treatment response. Because Lefra 10mg Tablet suppresses the immune system, certain vaccines may not be suitable during treatment. Discuss any planned vaccinations with your doctor before starting therapy. Treatment may also need to be postponed if you have a severe infection until it has completely resolved. Lefra 10mg Tablet should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, as it may cause harm to the unborn baby and can pass into breast milk. Avoid consuming alcohol during treatment because it may increase the risk of liver damage. Always inform your healthcare provider about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter drugs, and herbal supplements you are taking to help prevent potential drug interactions.
