Product Introduction

Lenshil 18mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Lenvatinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is indicated for progressive or advanced thyroid cancer when radioactive iodine therapy has proven ineffective. It is also used to treat previously untreated hepatocellular carcinoma in patients ineligible for surgical intervention. Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma, an advanced form of thyroid cancer, typically occurs in patients aged 60 years and above. It presents with an enlarged and hardened thyroid gland and hoarseness of voice resulting from paralysis of the laryngeal nerve. Hepatocellular carcinoma develops secondary to pre-existing liver conditions such as cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B infection. Patients with a known hypersensitivity to Lenvatinib or any component of Lenshil 18mg Capsule should not use this medication. Patients should notify their dentist or oral surgeon of Lenshil 18mg Capsule use, as it may impair wound healing and increase the risk of bleeding.

Uses

How it works

Lenshil 18mg Capsule blocks the enzyme receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). RTKs develop new blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the cells and help them grow. This medicine inhibits the receptors that facilitate the growth of blood vessels in tumor cells. RTKs are present in high concentrations in cancer cells, and administration of this medicine slows down the rate of cancer cells’ growth and multiplication.

How to Use

Lenshil 18mg Capsule is an oral medication that is usually taken once a day, at approximately the same time each day, with or without food. It should be taken as prescribed by a doctor or other healthcare provider. These capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
