Product Introduction
Leuprotime 22.5mg Injection contains the active ingredient Leuprolide acetate, a Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) agonist. It is used to treat prostate cancer in men, hormone-responsive breast cancer in women, endometriosis (growth of uterine tissue outside the uterus), and uterine fibroids (noncancerous uterine growths) in women. The injection is also indicated for premature puberty, characterised by early physical development in children due to hormonal imbalances.
Do not use this injection if you are allergic to Leuprotime 22.5mg Injection or any of its ingredients, including Goserelin and Triptorelin. Inform your physician prior to treatment if you have liver or kidney impairment. Notify your doctor if you have undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding. This medicine is contraindicated in pregnancy or planned pregnancy. During treatment, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen due to increased sex steroid levels in the body; discuss this with your physician. Report any progressive brain tumour in your child to your doctor. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor of underlying medical conditions including diabetes, seizures, heart problems with chest pain, irregular heartbeats, depression, or increased risk of osteoporosis. This medicine is not recommended for patients with abnormal vaginal bleeding. Women of childbearing age should use non-hormonal contraceptive methods during Leuprotime 22.5mg Injection treatment. Notify your doctor if you are a man with urinary obstruction or have undergone testicular removal. Inform your doctor if you experience spinal cord pressure, urinary disorders, or haematuria (blood in the urine).
