Product Introduction
Lupihope 10mg Tablet contains the active component lupine derivative formulation. It is used to regulate irregular menstrual cycles and can help treat dysfunctional uterine bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, and secondary amenorrhea. It is also used as hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women, particularly when estrogen therapy alone is contraindicated. It is combined with other medications in assisted reproductive techniques, such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), to support embryo implantation. In some cases of threatened miscarriage, it may be prescribed to help maintain the pregnancy.
Patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Lupihope 10mg Tablet or its components should not use this medication. It should be avoided in patients with a history of thromboembolic disorders, such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or cerebrovascular accidents. Patients with severe liver impairment should not use this medication, as it may exacerbate the condition. If undiagnosed vaginal bleeding is present, the cause of which has not been established, Lupihope 10mg Tablet should not be used until the cause of bleeding is confirmed. It should not be used in patients with known or suspected estrogen-dependent tumours, such as certain breast or uterine cancer types, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, or Rotor syndrome.
It can be used in elderly patients; however, caution should be exercised, especially in those with medical conditions such as liver impairment or a history of thromboembolic disorders. It is typically not indicated for use in children and adolescents.
