Product Introduction
Lynparza 100mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that belongs to the class of poly adenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitors. It contains the active ingredient Olaparib and is used to treat pancreatic and prostate cancer. Cancer is a disease characterised by uncontrolled and abnormal cell multiplication. This medication may be administered as monotherapy or in combination with other anticancer drugs. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop breathlessness, chest pain, rapid heart rate, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your healthcare provider will perform blood tests before commencing treatment and monthly during therapy, as this medicine can reduce red blood cell, white blood cell, and platelet counts. Inform your healthcare provider before starting treatment if you have a history of lung, liver, heart, or kidney disease. This drug is not recommended during pregnancy as it may cause foetal harm and miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential should therefore undergo a pregnancy test before beginning this treatment. It is advisable to continue contraceptive methods for a minimum of 6 months after treatment completion. Avoid breastfeeding while on this treatment, as it is unknown whether Lynparza 100mg Tablet is excreted into breast milk.

How it works
Lynparza 100mg Tablet works by inhibiting PARP enzymes, blocks the repair of single-stranded DNA, and ultimately hinders the growth and development of cancer cells.
How to Use
The medicine will be prescribed to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. Lynparza 100mg is available as a tablet to be taken with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. The usual recommended dosage is 250 mg tablet once daily. Avoid crushing, opening, or dissolving the tablet; swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take the tablet at the same time every day.
