Lynparza 150mg Tablet is an anticancer medication in the poly adenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitor class, containing olaparib as its active ingredient. It is indicated for treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancer. Cancer involves uncontrolled and abnormal cell multiplication. This medication may be administered as monotherapy or in combination with other anticancer agents. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop breathlessness, chest pain, rapid heart rate, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your healthcare provider will order blood tests before treatment initiation and monthly during treatment, as this medicine can reduce red blood cell, white blood cell, and platelet counts. Inform your healthcare provider before starting treatment if you have a history of lung, liver, heart, or kidney disease. Lynparza tablet is contraindicated in pregnancy as it may harm the developing fetus and cause miscarriage. A pregnancy test is advised before beginning this treatment in women of childbearing potential. Birth control methods should ideally be continued for a minimum of 6 months following completion of treatment. Do not breastfeed whilst receiving this treatment, as it is unknown whether Lynparza 150mg Tablet passes into breast milk.

The medicine will be prescribed to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. Lynparza 150mg is available as a tablet to be taken with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. The usual recommended dosage is 250 mg tablet once daily. Please ask your doctor to know your Lynparza 150 mg dosage. Avoid crushing, opening, or dissolving the tablet; swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take the tablet at the same time every day.
