Product Introduction
Lyophilized snake venom antiserum injection is used to treat snakebites. It comprises polyvalent, enzyme-refined, equine antivenom immunoglobulin fragments—antibodies produced in horses that are specifically designed to neutralize the venom of certain snakes. It is indicated for snakebites caused by venomous snakes, including cobras, kraits, and mambas. It may also be used for snakebites caused by non-venomous snakes, such as pythons and boas, if there is a risk of infection.
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to lyophilized snake venom antiserum injection. Before receiving this injection, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Notify your doctor of any history of disease, particularly liver, kidney, or heart-related conditions.
This injection is not recommended for patients with an allergy to any ingredient in the antiserum. It should not be used in patients with a history of blood clots or kidney problems.
