Product Introduction
Maharaft Suspension 150ml contains two antacids—Sodium bicarbonate and Calcium carbonate—along with Sodium alginate, a gastrointestinal agent. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, including heartburn, indigestion, and acid regurgitation, which may occur after eating or during pregnancy. The suspension also addresses hyperacidity by neutralising excess stomach acid to alleviate pain and discomfort.
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Sodium alginate, Sodium bicarbonate, Calcium carbonate, or any other ingredient, or if you have experienced difficulty breathing and skin rashes.
Before using Maharaft Suspension 150ml, inform your doctor of all medical conditions, including kidney or liver problems, heart failure, and high blood pressure. Do not take this medicine within two hours of other medications, as this may cause interference. As this suspension contains sodium, notify your doctor if you are following a low-salt diet.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms persist after seven days of treatment. Excessive use of this medicine may result in electrolyte imbalance, which can cause unwanted side effects such as stomach cramps and flatulence (gas accumulation in the digestive system).

How it works
Maharaft suspension 150ml is a combination of three medications. Sodium alginate forms a viscous gel by reacting with stomach acid, where the gel acts as a barrier to reduce reflux. Sodium bicarbonate neutralizes the acidic pH in the stomach. Calcium carbonate decreases the amount of acid in the stomach.
How to Use
Maharaft suspension 150ml is only for oral use. Shake well before opening. Your physician chooses the dosage based on your medical condition because it differs for each person.
