Megaley E softgel capsule contains two active ingredients: Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Vitamin E. It is a lipid-lowering agent belonging to the cholesterol reducer group. This medicine is indicated for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and its more severe form, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The capsule works by decreasing fat buildup within the liver while alleviating cellular inflammation. This dual mechanism is particularly relevant for patients with these liver conditions, where fat accumulation and inflammation drive disease progression.
Do not take Megaley E softgel capsule if you are allergic to the active substances or any other ingredients in this medicine. Inform your physician if you are scheduled for or have recently had surgery, sustained recent trauma, or have kidney problems, diabetes, liver disease, or heart disease. Inform your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before starting treatment. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to fish.
The most common side effects of Megaley E softgel capsule are abdominal distension, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea, indigestion, flatulence, belching, acid reflux, nausea, and vomiting. This medicine may increase the frequency of heart rhythm disturbances in patients with existing heart problems.
