Product Introduction
Merosya 7mg Tablet is an immunomodulatory antineoplastic medication containing the active ingredient Teriflunomide. It is used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system that disrupts communication between the brain and body. This can cause various symptoms including leg weakness, difficulty walking, lack of coordination, and vision problems. The medication works by preventing relapses and slowing disease progression through limitation of specific immune cell function that causes nerve damage.
Merosya is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Teriflunomide or any component of the formulation. Inform your physician if you have high blood pressure, alcohol addiction, skin problems, breathing problems, or intolerance to certain sugars, as these conditions may require special consideration when taking this medication.
If you are scheduled to receive vaccinations or undergo specific blood tests such as a calcium level test, inform your physician before taking Merosya tablet, as some medications can interact with vaccines or affect test results.
Merosya use is not recommended in individuals with severe liver or kidney disorders, serious infections, bone marrow disorders, immune system disorders such as AIDS, or very low protein levels in blood, as these conditions could interact with the medication or worsen its effects.
This medication is unsafe during pregnancy because it can harm an unborn baby and increase the risk of birth defects. If you become pregnant while taking this drug, inform your physician immediately.
Merosya is unsafe during breastfeeding as it is excreted in human milk.
How it works
