Product Introduction

Milrinone 10mg Injection is an inotropic medication used to treat severe congestive heart failure when the heart's ability to pump blood is compromised. It is administered when other treatments prove ineffective, such as when patients with congestive heart failure do not respond adequately to diuretics or other medications.

Milrinone 10mg Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to milrinone or any component of the formulation. Patients with certain cardiac conditions including valve stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, outflow tract obstruction, hypotension, renal impairment, or a history of cardiac arrhythmias should use this medication with caution. Patients who have previously experienced cardiac complications following diuretic therapy should inform their physician of this history before starting treatment.

Before commencing Milrinone 10mg Injection, patients must disclose all existing medical conditions and concurrent medications to their doctor. This medication can affect blood pressure and heart rate; regular monitoring of these vital parameters is essential to ensure safety. Blood pressure and pulse rate should be checked regularly to assess the body's response to treatment. Patients with low blood potassium levels may require close monitoring during therapy, including periodic blood tests to determine potassium concentration.

Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy should inform their doctor before initiating treatment with Milrinone 10mg Injection.
