Product Introduction
Minoren Injection contains the active component Centella Amino acids, which are essential for collagen production and support wound healing. The medication may assist patients with chronic wounds, including pressure sores and diabetic foot ulcers, to heal more effectively. It may be used to help patients with muscle-wasting conditions, such as cancer and HIV/AIDS, maintain muscle mass. It is beneficial in treating mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.
Minoren Injection is contraindicated in individuals with known allergies or sensitivities to specific amino acids. It should be avoided in patients with phenylketonuria (PKU), a genetic disorder that impairs the ability to metabolise phenylalanine, an amino acid found in many proteins. Patients with kidney problems, particularly those on dialysis or with impaired kidney function, should use caution when taking this medication. Some amino acids, particularly those involved in the urea cycle such as arginine and citrulline, may be contraindicated in patients with severe liver disease. In some cases, it should be avoided in cancer patients, as certain amino acids may potentially stimulate the growth of specific cancer cell types. The medication should be used cautiously in children, with guidance from healthcare providers. It is generally safe for older adults; however, consultation with a doctor is advised before use, particularly for patients with underlying health conditions or those taking other medications.
