Product Introduction

Miqnaf 400mg Tablet is an oral antibiotic containing Nafithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract. The medication is indicated for community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP) and upper respiratory tract infections including pharyngitis and tonsillitis. Nafithromycin functions by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, resulting in death of susceptible bacteria. Miqnaf 400mg Tablet provides once-daily dosing in a short-course regimen, facilitating adherence to the complete treatment course and reducing the likelihood of missed doses. Patients with bacterial respiratory infections should use this medication only as prescribed by their doctor and complete the full course to mitigate the development of antibiotic resistance.

Uses

Miqnaf 400mg Tablet is commonly prescribed for: Community-Acquired Bacterial Pneumonia (CABP) Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis caused by susceptible bacteria Mild to moderate respiratory tract infections caused by macrolide-sensitive pathogens Always use Miqnaf 400mg Tablet for bacterial infections as prescribed by your doctor. It does not work against viral infections like the common cold or flu.

How it works

Miqnaf 400mg Tablet works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. Nafithromycin targets the bacterial ribosome and blocks the production of essential proteins needed for bacterial survival and growth. This action eventually kills the bacteria, helping to clear the infection. Miqnaf 400mg Tablet is known for its long half-life and tissue penetration, allowing for effective bacterial killing with shorter treatment duration compared to some other antibiotics.
