Product Introduction
Mirel 18mg injection contains reteplase, a tissue plasminogen activator that breaks up blood clots and restores blood flow. It is used to dissolve a blood clot causing acute myocardial infarction within 12 hours of symptom onset. This medicine carries a risk of excessive bleeding and must be administered only by a doctor. Patients taking heparin and aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) should inform their doctor before starting any new medication to prevent increased bleeding risk. Individuals with brain disorders, bleeding disorders, high blood pressure, or kidney and liver disorders should exercise caution and speak with their doctor before taking Mirel 18mg injection. Inform your doctor if you have undergone major surgery within the past three months. Elderly patients aged 75 years and above should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although no clinical evidence exists regarding passage of the drug through breast milk, it is advisable to inform your doctor to avoid any potential adverse effects.
