Product Introduction

Mitobulin 0.5mg Injection is a chemotherapy agent containing eribulin, an antineoplastic substance. It is indicated in adults for the treatment of advanced breast cancer or liposarcoma (malignancy arising from adipose tissue) where prior therapeutic approaches have been ineffective. Mitobulin 0.5mg Injection should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to eribulin or any excipient in the formulation. Use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age is not recommended, as safety and efficacy data in this population are lacking. Prior to commencing therapy, inform your physician of any existing fever, infections, hepatic impairment, or cardiac conditions. Provide complete details of your medical history and current medications before treatment initiation.

Uses

Advanced breast cancer Liposarcoma

How it works

Mitobulin 0.5mg Injection stops the growth and spread of cancer cells, specifically targeting the growth phase of microtubules, which are structures that help cells divide. It prevents them from growing without interfering with their shrinking phase. Additionally, it causes tubulin, a protein essential for cell division, to clump together in a way that disrupts cell division. This ultimately leads to the blockage of the cell cycle (G2/M phase), disrupting the formation of structures necessary for cell division (mitotic spindles) and triggering cell death through apoptosis.

How to Use

Mitobulin 0.5mg Injection will be given to you by your healthcare provider. It is injected directly into a vein (intravenous infusion) in a cycle. Your healthcare provider determines the dose, duration, and frequency based on your age, body weight, and severity of your condition. If you forget or miss your Mitobulin 0.5mg Injection cycle dose, make another appointment as soon as possible. Do not wait until your next planned visit. Do not stop the treatment without physician advice.
