Momb9 Capsule contains Quatrefolic with vitamins. It is used to treat folate deficiency anemia in pregnant women. This medication also helps in managing neural tube defects (NTDs), which are birth defects that occur when the baby's brain or spinal cord does not develop properly. This medication during pregnancy can help the baby's brain and nervous system develop properly. It contains several other important nutrients for the health of pregnant women, which can help support the mother's overall health and well-being during pregnancy.
Do not take Momb9 Capsule if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients. It can mask the symptoms of megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency. If you have this condition, do not take this medication unless you also take vitamin B12 supplements. If you have untreated pernicious anemia, do not take it unless you also take vitamin B12 supplements. It should be avoided in Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON), a rare genetic condition that can cause vision loss.
If you have kidney problems or epilepsy, consult your doctor before taking this medication. There is no specific safety information available for the use of Momb9 Capsule in elderly patients. This medication is not recommended for children as the safety and efficacy have not been established in the paediatric population.
