Product Introduction
Mozifor 24mg injection is an antineoplastic agent containing the active ingredient Plerixafor. It is used for mobilising blood stem cells for collection, storage, and transplantation. It is indicated in lymphoma (WBC cancer), multiple myeloma (plasma cell cancer in bone marrow), or solid tumours. Inform your doctor if you have or have had any cardiac disease. Before commencing treatment, notify your doctor if you have elevated WBC counts, low platelet counts, or a history of lightheadedness or fainting, particularly before injection. This medicine is not recommended for stem cell mobilisation if you have leukaemia. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Plerixafor or any other ingredient. Inform your doctor if you have renal disorders; your doctor may adjust the Mozifor 24mg dose if existing kidney disease is present. Your doctor may also conduct regular blood tests to monitor blood cell counts. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, suspect you may be pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding. Effective contraception is recommended. Report to your doctor if you experience any adverse effects such as rashes or swelling around the eyes, altered breathing (hypoxia), or pain in the upper left abdomen or left shoulder.
Uses

How it works
Mozifor 24mg injection works by blocking a protein called CXCR4 (chemokine receptor) on stem cells, which helps them move from the bone marrow into the bloodstream. By blocking CXCR4, Mozifor 24mg causes the stem cells to be released into the bloodstream, where the stem cells can be collected and isolated using a machine and stored for transplantation.
How to Use
