Mycidac C Injection

Mycidac-C Injection is an immunomodulator composed of heat-killed Mycobacterium W (Mw), indicated for treatment of NSCLC (Non-small Cell Lung Cancer) in combination with other anticancer agents. It improves overall response, quality of life, and survival in patients with this condition. The injection contains the active ingredient Mitomycin C, a chemotherapy drug. It may be administered alongside other chemotherapy agents or used as monotherapy.

Patients receiving Mycidac-C Injection should avoid live vaccines during treatment and for several months after completion, as the immune system may become weakened. When combined with radiation therapy, this medication can increase the risk of radiation-induced toxicity. Dose adjustment or close monitoring may be necessary in patients undergoing concurrent radiation therapy.
