Product Introduction

Myhb 2mg Tablet is a chemotherapy medicine containing pomalidomide as its active ingredient. It belongs to the immunomodulatory agents class of medications. It is indicated for the treatment of multiple myeloma in adults. Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer that primarily affects plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. These cells proliferate uncontrollably and accumulate in the bone marrow, resulting in damage to bones and kidneys.

Common side effects associated with Myhb 2mg Tablet include shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, back and bone pain, dizziness, tremor, upper respiratory tract infection, insomnia, reduced appetite, lack of energy, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling or burning sensation, hypokalaemia, and anaemia. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects occur or persist.

Inform your medical professional if you are allergic to Myhb 2mg Tablet or any of its ingredients. Advise your doctor if you have high cholesterol levels, cardiac disorders, respiratory problems, blood clotting disorders, hepatitis B infection, neuropathy (nerve-related pain in the hands or feet), or if you are a smoker before commencing this chemotherapy medicine.

This medicine is not recommended for use in adolescents and children below 18 years of age.

Treatment of Multiple myeloma.

How it works

Myhb 2mg Tablet works by stimulating the immune system to attack the cancer cells, stopping the formation of blood vessels supplying the cancer cells, and preventing the growth of cancer cells (myeloma cells).

How to Use

Always take Myhb 2mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medicine with or without food. Swallow the tablet as a whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablets.

Side Effects

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Serious: Low white blood cells Bleeding or bruising Severe or bloody diarrhea Blood clots (chest or leg pain, swelling) Severe liver problems (yellowing of skin or eyes, dark-brow color urine, abdominal Pain) Severe allergic reactions (swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing) Common: Shortness of breath Tiredness, weakness Nausea, vomiting Dizziness, tremor Low potassium level in the blood (hypokalaemia) Back pain, bone pain Diarrhea, constipation Upper respiratory tract infection High blood sugar levels Loss of appetite, lack of energy Trouble sleeping Muscle spasms, muscle weakness Numbness, tingling, or burning sensation in the skin, Pain in hands or feet Anemia

Expert Tips

It is recommended to take effective birth control for at least 4 weeks before beginning treatment, during treatment, and at least 4 weeks after stopping Myhb 2mg Tablet treatment. Women who are pregnant or suspect they may be pregnant should not use this medication. Handle this medication with disposable gloves since it may come into contact with the skin. Do not share Myhb 2mg Tablet with others even if they have the same symptoms as you have, since it may cause birth defects and other serious problems. It is advised to refrain from donating blood or sperm both during treatment and for seven days after treatment with this drug.

Safety Advice

Pregnancy: unsafe Myhb 2mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as it may cause harmful effects on the unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine.

Lungs: Consult your doctor It is unknown whether Myhb 2mg tablet can be given to patients with lung disorders. Consult your doctor if you have any lung problems before starting the treatment.

Breastfeeding: unsafe It is not recommended to use during breastfeeding as it is unknown if Myhb 2mg Tablet passes into breast milk and harms the baby.
