Product Introduction
Mytera 500mg Tablet contains Abiraterone Acetate 500mg, an anti-cancer medicine used to treat prostate cancer in adult men, especially when the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. It works by reducing the production of androgens (male hormones) that promote the growth of prostate cancer cells. This medicine is usually prescribed along with a corticosteroid to help reduce certain side effects. In some patients with earlier-stage disease, it is also used in combination with testosterone-lowering therapy for improved treatment outcomes.
The Mytera 500mg Tablet dosage should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It must be taken on an empty stomach, avoiding food for at least 2 hours before and 1 hour after taking the tablet. Swallow the tablet whole with water without crushing, chewing, or breaking it.
This medicine is not intended for women or children. Effective contraception is recommended during treatment to prevent pregnancy exposure. Since Mytera 500mg Tablet contains lactose and sodium, inform your doctor if you have lactose intolerance or are following a sodium-restricted diet.
