Product Introduction

N Zal 80mg Capsule contains Enzalutamide, a targeted anti-cancer medicine belonging to the class of androgen receptor inhibitors. It is used to treat advanced prostate cancer in adult men, particularly when the disease no longer responds adequately to surgery or hormone therapy. This oral medication works by blocking the action of male hormones (androgens) that support the growth of prostate cancer cells.

During treatment with N Zal 80mg Capsule, regular monitoring, including PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) tests, may be required to evaluate treatment response and disease progression. Doctors may also recommend periodic liver function tests and complete blood counts to monitor safety during long-term use.

This medicine may increase the risk of seizures in some patients and should be used cautiously in individuals with a history of seizures or neurological disorders. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as it may affect the medicine levels in the blood. Since Enzalutamide may cause fetal harm and affect fertility, effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least 3 months after stopping the medicine.

Uses

Used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer that has not responded to other therapies.

How it works

N Zal 80mg Capsule works by blocking the androgen receptors on prostate cancer cells. These receptors normally allow the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to stimulate cancer growth. By preventing DHT from binding, the drug disrupts cancer cell signalling, slows disease progression, and reduces tumour proliferation.

Side Effects

Like most cancer treatments, N Zal 80mg Capsule 40mg may cause some side effects. While not everyone experiences them, it’s important to be aware: Common Side Effects: Fatigue or tiredness Back pain or joint stiffness Headache or difficulty concentrating High blood pressure Constipation or diarrhoea Loss of appetite Dry skin or skin rashes Breast swelling in men (gynecomastia) Serious Side Effects: Seizures Allergic reactions Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES) Falls or bone fractures Heart conditions or palpitations Seek immediate medical help if you experience any signs of severe side effects.

Expert Tips

Take the medicine at the same time daily to maintain consistent drug levels in your body. Avoid grapefruit juice, which may dangerously increase enzalutamide concentration in the bloodstream. Use skin moisturisers regularly, as N Zal 80mg Capsule 40mg may cause dryness and flaking. Stay hydrated and eat a balanced diet to manage fatigue and improve treatment tolerance. Inform all healthcare providers about your treatment if you’re scheduled for surgery or dental work. Do not stop the medicine abruptly without your oncologist’s advice—even if you feel better. Contraception is crucial: Men must use barrier protection throughout treatment and for 3 months afterwards.
