Product Introduction

Naproflurane Liquid 250ml contains sevoflurane as its active component. It is used to induce complete loss of sensation in the body, including unconsciousness, to permit surgical operations and other procedures to be performed without pain or distress. This medication is used in hospital settings only and provides rapid induction and emergence. It can be easily adjusted and titrated to maintain the desired level of sedation throughout the procedure. Naproflurane Liquid 250ml is suitable for many patients, including paediatric and elderly populations. It can be safely used in various surgical procedures and in combination with other anaesthetic agents and adjuncts. Individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Naproflurane Liquid 250ml or other halogenated ethers should not receive this anaesthetic. Like other volatile anaesthetics, it can trigger malignant hyperthermia, a rare but potentially life-threatening condition characterised by a severe reaction to certain medications used during general anaesthesia. Patients with a personal or family history of malignant hyperthermia or suspected susceptibility to malignant hyperthermia should avoid Naproflurane Liquid 250ml. Although it is primarily eliminated through exhalation, caution should be exercised in patients with severe renal impairment. Patients with certain pre-existing cardiac conditions, such as severe cardiovascular disease or unstable angina, may require caution when using this medication.
