Product Introduction
Natsmart Oral Solution contains Risdiplam, a first-in-class oral therapy used to treat spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Natsmart Oral Solution is indicated for patients of all ages with SMA, from infants to adults. This medicine is contraindicated in individuals with a known hypersensitivity to Risdiplam or any of its components. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, or if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. This medicine should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Nursing mothers should exercise caution, as small amounts may pass into breast milk.

Risdiplam works by modifying the splicing of SMN2 gene mRNA. Normally, many SMN2 transcripts skip exon 7, resulting in a non-functional SMN protein. Natsmart Oral Solution promotes inclusion of exon 7, increasing the production of functional SMN protein in motor neurons and other tissues. This helps protect nerve cells and improve muscle function.
