Product Introduction

Nefisor XL 30 Tablet is an antihypertensive medication containing Nifedipine, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels. This improves blood flow and reduces pressure on the heart. Nefisor XL 30 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain) caused by coronary artery disease. By improving oxygen and blood supply to the heart, it helps prevent episodes of chest pain and lowers the risk of heart-related complications. This medicine should not be used by patients allergic to Nifedipine or any of its ingredients. It is contraindicated in patients recovering from a recent heart attack (acute myocardial infarction) or those with severe heart failure. Patients with conduction abnormalities or cardiovascular disorders should use it only under strict medical supervision. During therapy, blood pressure should be monitored regularly, as sudden drops in blood pressure, known as orthostatic hypotension, may occur, especially in patients with very high blood pressure or low blood volume. The price of Nefisor XL 30 Tablet may vary based on brand and location. If unavailable, your doctor may recommend a Nefisor XL 30 Tablet substitute with a similar active ingredient and therapeutic effect.

How it works

Nefisor XL 30 Tablet works by blocking the influx of calcium ions into certain body cells, including muscle cells in blood vessels and the heart. This blockage of calcium ions inhibits the contraction of smooth muscle cells in blood vessels, leading to vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) and a decrease in blood pressure.
