Product Introduction
Nefro ACT Tablet contains two active ingredients: N-Acetylcysteine and Taurine. It is used in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease, a condition that can develop as a result of diabetes or sudden elevation in blood sugar levels. If left untreated, diabetic kidney disease may progress to kidney failure. This medication is also commonly used to treat lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis, as it helps break down and thin mucus in the airways, facilitating expectoration. Additionally, N-Acetylcysteine provides protection against certain pharmaceutical drugs, such as paracetamol (acetaminophen), by helping to prevent liver damage caused by overdose or toxicity.
Nefro ACT Tablet is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to the medication or its components. Use should be avoided in combination with topical antibiotics for the relief of dry eye syndrome. Concurrent use with topical antibiotics can increase the risk of severe adverse reactions. The medication is not recommended for use in patients experiencing a severe and sudden asthma attack. Asthma patients should be closely monitored during treatment with this medication. Notify your physician if you develop any related symptoms.
Inform your doctor of any existing heart, thyroid, kidney, or liver disease. Your physician may prescribe a low dose and perform regular blood tests. It is generally recommended to avoid using Nefro ACT Tablet during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless necessary.
