Conditions: Kidney Disease

Product Introduction

Nefrosave Forte Tablet contains N-acetylcysteine 300mg and pyridoxamine dihydrochloride 50mg. It is used in the management of diabetic nephropathy and as an antidote for paracetamol poisoning. Diabetic nephropathy is a significant factor leading to end-stage kidney disease. It results from various factors including poor glycaemic control, prolonged diabetes, hypertension, family history, and other complications. This medicine protects the kidney from injury caused by contrast media, ischaemia and toxins. It also detoxifies the body from the effects of paracetamol overdosage.

Patients with allergic reactions to the ingredients and those with severe infections should consult their doctor before taking Nefrosave Forte Tablet. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reaction (difficulty with breathing, chest tightness, rash, itching, hives, swelling of lips, tongue, or face), infection (short- or long-term), tuberculosis, intestinal ulcers or diverticulitis (small bulging pouches developed in the digestive tract), liver disease, cancer, kidney function problems, and persistent headaches. Consult your doctor if you are planning to become pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
