Product Introduction

Nevir ER 400mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Nevirapine, which is a Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor (NNRTI) used in HIV treatment. It is indicated in combination with other antiretroviral drugs for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and children of all ages. The medicine works by blocking the action of the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which is essential for HIV virus replication. Reducing the replication process helps lower viral load in the blood and supports improved immune function. Do not take Nevir ER 400mg Tablet if you are allergic to Nevirapine or any other ingredients in this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have experienced severe skin reactions, liver problems, or hypersensitivity issues with previous HIV medications. Patients with liver disease, hepatitis B or C infection, or elevated CD4 counts require careful monitoring with this medicine.

How it works

The nevir er tablet composition includes Nevirapine, which block the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which HIV requires to convert its RNA into DNA within human cells. This action slows the multiplication of the virus and helps reduce its levels in the bloodstream.
