Product Introduction
Nostof 2gm Injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the skin, bones, joints, and other parts of the body. It works by destroying the bacteria responsible for the infection and is also commonly used to help prevent infections before and after surgical procedures.
Do not use Nostof 2gm Injection if you are allergic to cephalosporins, penicillins, other beta-lactam antibiotics, or any of its ingredients. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have a history of colitis, kidney disease, or are following a low-sodium diet, as these conditions may require special monitoring.
This injection is not recommended for premature babies or infants younger than one month, as its safety has not been established in this age group. If you are taking birth control pills, consult your doctor, as some antibiotics may reduce their effectiveness and additional contraceptive methods may be recommended during treatment.
