How it works

Oriaxon SB 1.5gm Injection is a combination of ceftriaxone and sulbactam, effective against multidrug-resistant bacteria. Ceftriaxone, an antibiotic, works by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial protective covering crucial for bacterial survival. Sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, reduces resistance and enhances ceftriaxone's effectiveness against bacteria.

Do not stop the medication early, as stopping too soon can cause bacteria to become resistant to the treatment. Diarrhoea may occur as a side effect. To reduce this, consider taking probiotics like yoghurt, fermented foods, or supplements.
