Product Introduction

Ormoxi CV 1.2gm Injection is a combination antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the ears, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract, skin, bones, and joints. It contains Amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic that kills bacteria, and Clavulanic Acid, which enhances the effectiveness of amoxicillin by inhibiting bacterial resistance mechanisms. This combination is prescribed when monotherapy with standard antibiotics proves insufficient. The medicine is administered intravenously and must be given by a healthcare professional in a hospital or clinical setting. Patients with a history of allergies to penicillin or other antibiotics, liver disease, or kidney impairment should inform their doctor before commencing treatment. Ormoxi CV 1.2gm Injection is not indicated for viral infections such as the common cold or influenza, and use should occur only under medical supervision to minimise the risk of antibiotic resistance and adverse effects.

Uses

Sinus and middle ear infections Respiratory tract infections Urinary tract infections (UTI) Soft tissue and skin infections, including dental infections Bone and joint infections

How it works

Amoxicillin kills bacteria by stopping them from forming their protective cell walls. Clavulanic Acid protects amoxicillin from being broken down by bacterial enzymes, making the combo more effective. Together, they give a broader and more powerful defence against infections.
