Product Introduction

Orpoclav 325mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics indicated for treatment of various bacterial infections. It contains cefpodoxime, which eliminates infection-causing bacteria, and clavulanic acid, which enhances antibiotic efficacy by inhibiting bacterial resistance mechanisms. Physicians prescribe this medicine for infections of the lungs, throat, ears, urinary tract, and skin. It belongs to the class of antibiotics and is effective only against bacterial infections, not viral infections such as colds or influenza. This medicine should be taken only as advised by your doctor. It may be unsuitable if you have a history of antibiotic allergies or have kidney or liver impairment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before initiating treatment.

How it works

This medicine helps get rid of infections by killing the bacteria causing them. One part of the medicine stops the bacteria from growing.
