Product Introduction
Ovuloc Tablet contains Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol, a combination of estrogen and progestogen hormones used as an oral contraceptive to prevent pregnancy. It works by suppressing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus, and altering the uterine lining to reduce the chances of fertilization and implantation. In addition to birth control, Ovuloc Tablet is also prescribed to manage dysmenorrhea, helping relieve painful and irregular menstrual periods associated with symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and menstrual discomfort.
Do not take Ovuloc Tablet if you are allergic to Desogestrel, Ethinylestradiol, or any of its ingredients, or if you have a history of blood clotting disorders, liver tumors, pancreatitis, unexplained vaginal bleeding, severe diabetes with blood vessel damage, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or are taking certain medications for hepatitis C. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, heart disease, migraines, diabetes, breast cancer, eye disorders, chloasma, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), sickle cell anemia, hypertriglyceridemia, varicose veins, or superficial thrombophlebitis. Tell your healthcare provider if you have recently given birth, are planning surgery, or expect prolonged immobility, as these conditions may increase the risk of blood clots. Avoid excessive sun or UV exposure if you have chloasma. Ovuloc Tablet is not recommended for children under 18 years of age and should only be used under medical supervision.
