Paclieva 260mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing paclitaxel as its active ingredient. It is indicated for the treatment of breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma. Cancer is a condition characterised by uncontrolled and rapid cell division and growth. This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Paclieva 260mg Injection may be administered as monotherapy or in combination with other anticancer agents. This chemotherapy medication is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment, uncontrolled infection, and low white blood cell or platelet counts. Patients with cardiac disorders should inform their doctor prior to treatment. Administration of this medicine may trigger serious allergic reactions. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least six months following the final dose. Paclieva 260mg Injection may be harmful to patients with alcoholism, as this formulation contains alcohol.

It will be given to you by a doctor or nurse. Do not self-administer. Your doctor will decide the dose and dosage of the Paclieva 260mg Injection.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Inform the doctor if the patient is allergic to this medication, liver, heart conditions and other medication taken for different medical conditions before taking this medicine. Liver, blood pressure, blood count should be monitored while taking this medication. Don't take this medication if the patient is planning for pregnancy or during pregnancy and in breast feeding mothers as it causes harmful effects on developing babies. Avoid driving and handling heavy machinery after taking this medication as it can affect the concentration and alertness.
